We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our growing team in Tbilisi. In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Create purchase requisitions, purchase orders, GR/IR in SAP, analyze invoices and delivery confirmations
• Conduct market research and identify relevant suppliers of goods and services
• Negotiate with suppliers on price, quality of goods/service, delivery timings, etc
• Work closely with the various department representatives to clarify the details of purchase requirements
• Ensure that contractual obligations are met and aligned with internal and legal requirements
• Liaise with suppliers and project managers regarding updates and details of goods and services
• Maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items
• Other duties assigned by the Immediate supervisor
• BA or MA in business administration, logistics or related discipline
• Proven 2+ years of experience working as a procurement assistant
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong English and Georgian language skills, both written and oral
• Work experience in ERP system, especially in SAP, would be a strong asset
• Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills and be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong business acumen, along with the ability to influence, is also highly beneficial in this role
• Detail Oriented, independent, proactive and result-oriented way of working, organizational talent and exceptional level of commitment
